In the morning light of New York, Emily once visited five pet stores in a row for her picky Corgi “Doubao”, only to fail in finding a single bag of additive-free natural pet food. Late at night in Tokyo, Sato was at a loss when his orange cat “Kotaro” kept chewing on the sofa—he searched through countless forums but still couldn’t find beginner-friendly training methods. At an online pet lovers’ conference in 2024, we—coming from five countries (yes, including Emily, Sato, Li Ran, and more pet lovers like us)—hit it off immediately upon hearing someone say, “It would be great if there was a place where pets all over the world could get reliable products, and we could learn practical pet care knowledge too.” Back then, some of us were veterinarians, some were senior product buyers, some were bloggers specializing in pet training, and others were tech enthusiasts knowledgeable about cross-border logistics. Thus, the prototype of World Pet Mart gradually took shape through countless cross-timezone video meetings. We didn’t want to be just a “pet store” that only sells products; instead, we aimed to build a “shared home for pet lovers worldwide”.
Today, World Pet Mart is far more than the small “dream” of those few pet lovers in the beginning. Every day, users from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia share their experiences with us: “Finally found hypoallergenic food that my dog can eat!” “Thanks to your tutorial, I successfully taught my cat to use the litter box!” Some pet owners even take the initiative to send photos of their “furry kids”, saying that their pets sleep soundly while holding the toys bought from us.
